Creating a Custom Landing Page

Deferred Deep Link Settings allow you to create a branded landing page that directs users to the correct destination based on their device and app installation status. If the app is not installed, users are sent to the respective app store and, upon first launch, routed to the intended in-app screen. If installed, they are directed immediately.

The configuration page defines:

  • Landing page appearance (app name, icon, title, subtitle, button text)

  • Store redirections (Google Play / iOS App Store)

  • Link domain to be used for deep link generation

Notes and Best Practices

  • Use short, clear text for Title and Subtitle to avoid truncation on smaller screens.

  • Confirm all store links are correct and functional before saving.

  • Ensure the domain name aligns with your app or brand name for consistency.

  • For optimal experience, verify how links behave across devices and browsers.

  • When testing, open your deferred deep link both on a device with and without the app installed to confirm proper redirection.
