Message Category

Go to your Netmera Panel and click

Settings > Message Categories > Create New Message Category

  1. Define a unique id of the message category on Category ID,

  2. Define a unique name of the message category,

  3. Click on the Save button.

Message Categories provide a convenient way to group your push notifications based on their purpose or content. By assigning each notification to a specific category such as, promotional offers, announcements, or transactional updates, you can quickly access and manage related messages at a glance.

Settings > Message Categories > Create New Message Category

  1. Define a unique id of the message category on Category ID,

  2. Define a unique name of the message category,

Publishing a Push with Message Categories

After saving your message category, you can immediately use it during the push-creation process.

In Step 2: What locate the Category section and assign the push notification to one of your defined categories (e.g., Promotions, News Updates, Account Notifications).

Selecting the appropriate category ensures your messages remain well-organized and easy to track within your campaign management dashboard.

Analyzing Reports by Message Categories

In the Reports section, if you have assigned a category to your campaign, you will see the Campaign ID, which corresponds to the type and ID of your notification, including the Message Category ID. This unique identifier helps you track campaign performance by category, providing insights into how each message group engages your audience and drives desired actions.
