Deeplinks allow you to direct users to specific content or locations within an app, providing a streamlined navigation experience from one app or website to another. 🔗
Universal Links (iOS) and App Links (Android) are implementations of deeplinking that improve the user experience across platforms. Universal Links use standard HTTP or HTTPS URLs, enabling the system to check if the corresponding iOS app is installed. If it is, the link opens the app directly; if not, it opens in a web browser.
On Android, App Links ensure a consistent user experience by opening the app when the link is tapped, provided the app is installed. If the app is not installed, the link can fallback to a browser or prompt the user to install the app from the Play Store.
By integrating deeplinks into your app, you can enhance navigation, facilitate deep linking from various sources, and increase user engagement.
