# Use cases and example requests

Example requests that help you analyze campaigns, find the cause of drops and decide what to do next with N-Assistant.

N-Assistant is most useful when you ask a business question instead of a reporting question. This page groups example requests by goal, so you can see how to phrase them and what kind of answer to expect.

Each answer is based on your Netmera data. N-Assistant reads the relevant reports, interprets them and, where it makes sense, recommends the next step.

### Analyze campaign performance

Use these requests to understand what worked and what did not across channels.

<table><thead><tr><th width="380">Example request</th><th>What you get</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>“Analyze the performance of the push notification campaigns I sent recently.”</td><td>A review of recent push campaigns with send success rate, CTR, the best and weakest campaigns and recommended actions.</td></tr><tr><td>“Look at the click rates of my emails. How can I increase clicks?”</td><td>An analysis of email click rates with suggestions to increase clicks.</td></tr><tr><td>“Compare the results of my latest A/B test and tell me which variant to keep.”</td><td>A comparison of the test variants and a recommendation.</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Find the reason behind a change

Use these requests when a number moves and the reason is not clear.

<table><thead><tr><th width="380">Example request</th><th>What you get</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>“Credit applications have been dropping lately. Analyze the numbers.”</td><td>An analysis of the drop with the likely contributing factors.</td></tr><tr><td>“Opt-outs increased this month. Is there a relationship with my campaigns?”</td><td>A check of how opt-out changes relate to your campaign activity.</td></tr><tr><td>“Why did this campaign get fewer clicks than the previous one?”</td><td>A comparison of the two campaigns with the differences that matter.</td></tr><tr><td>“Give me a September retention diagnosis.”</td><td>A cohort-based diagnosis with a cohort size chart, a table with a note for each date and recommended actions.</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Decide what to do next

Use these requests to turn analysis into a prioritized plan.

<table><thead><tr><th width="380">Example request</th><th>What you get</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>“Which 3 actions should I prioritize next month to improve retention?”</td><td>Three prioritized actions based on your own data.</td></tr><tr><td>“Which of my automations needs attention first?”</td><td>A review of your automations with the one to look at first.</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Keep what you learn

When an analysis is useful beyond a single conversation, turn the insights into a custom dashboard in your panel. This keeps the numbers you care about in one place.

### Tips for better answers

* **Be specific.** Name the channel, campaign or time range when you know it. A specific question gets a specific answer.
* **Ask for a recommendation.** End your request with, for example, “and tell me what to change.”
* **Go deeper in the same conversation.** N-Assistant keeps the context of the conversation, so you can reply with “Break this down by send hour.”
* **Use one conversation per topic.** Select **New Chat** when you switch from, for example, push performance to retention.
* **Verify before you act.** Compare key figures with your panel reports when a decision depends on them.

{% hint style="info" %}
N-Assistant recommends actions but does not apply them. It cannot send campaigns, change segments or workflows, or contact end users. See [Security and privacy](/netmera-user-guide/ai-features/n-assistant/security-and-privacy.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://user.netmera.com/netmera-user-guide/ai-features/n-assistant/use-cases-and-example-requests.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
